Conducted a comprehensive keyword research and gap analysis for Kalakriti, a Shopify-based ethnic wear store, to identify missed opportunities and enhance organic search visibility.

Observations & Insights:

  • Audited internal linking to uncover weak link equity and missing anchor texts.

  • Identified on-page issues including duplicate H1s, poor title/meta description length, and missing metadata.

  • Flagged missing alt text on 71% of images, impacting accessibility and image ranking.

What’s Working Well (Strengths)

  • High SEO Score (90/100): Indicates strong overall technical health.
  • No Critical Issues: No significant problems affecting search engine indexing.
  • Clean Website Structure: No broken internal URLs or critical HTML errors.
  • Canonical Implementation: Proper use of canonical tags to prevent duplicate content.

Areas for Improvement (Weaknesses)

1. Internal Linking Issues:

  • 11 URLs have only one followed internal link, limiting their ability to rank.
  • 94 URLs have internal links without anchor text and missing keyword optimisation opportunities.

2. On-Page Optimization Gaps:

  • 6 URLs contain duplicate H1 tags, which can cause keyword cannibalisation.
